Now that research came out this week that drinking diet sodas daily increase heart attacks and strokes, this raspberry lime seltzer is a tasty substitute. It has the same carbonation of soda with zero calories, zero artificial ingredients and chemicals.I'm weaning myself off the soda and switching to this. Sometimes I mix it with a splash of berry juice, lemon juiceor orange juice. It's also great with cranberry and pineapple juice. I put it in smoothies ( one cup frozen berries, 1/2 c plain lowfat yogurt, one banana, 1/2 c berry juice and 1/2 c seltzer) and it keeps the sugar and calorie count down as most of the calories are in the fruit juice. The polar seltzer gives the smoothie some pizzazz.You wont really miss the diet sodas as much with the variety of healthy, almost no-calorie juice drinks you can make with this.
